Autococker Jam Bolt

The Autococker jam bolts come in different lengths. The popular jam bolt is the Delrin. If you ask any paintball enthusiast, they will rave about the Delrin jam bolt more so than any other one. The jam bolt is essentially two pieces having a spring-loaded telescoping design. Both of the pieces will move back and forth together. If the gun has a mis-feed, the front of the bolt will stop where the obstruction is located. However, the back part still moves forward. This has made the bolt gentler to use and the gun did have to be re-designed and it did not require adding a ball sensor.

Autococker jam bolt has to move freely inside the cocking block so that the feature anti-chop works the way it should work. The body of the jam has to glide smoothly inside of the bolt body that is an acetal resin. The jam bolt needs to offer low friction to know friction at all to work properly. If you jam a bolt, you need to know how to correct the problem. The most common reason for a jam is when a shell piece from a ball that breaks, gets between the bolt and the inside of the gun body.

If the Autococker jam bolt is stuck, you need to grab a hold of the block and pull it back. Most of the time this can be done rather easy. If this works, you need to take the bolt off and clean the inside to make sure nothing else can cause the bolt to jam. If you try to pull the bolt loose or try pulling the back block with no results, you will wan to try running it under hot water. Hot water softens the shell piece so you can dislodge the fragment safely.
